Facebook Home run on Google’s Android

As Facebook launches its new app on the Android platform called “Facebook Home”, it looks like the company is about to hit a home run on Google’s Android OS. The User Interface is designed to make all friendly Facebook activities in the centre of your phone.  The Facebook Home app will make sure you never miss a moment from the live streaming of posts and photos to news updates.

Its gives you the ability to chat with friends while using other apps on your phone. Some other functions include the App launcher which helps you get right into other apps like instagram and FB Chat. The whole Facebook home app sounds like a great home run for FB on paper but the challenge will lie in the functionality on the Android platform. The reason for the scepticism is because Facebook is trying to make Android OS to an ordinary utility role preventing Google from gathering all that user data from its OS. It’s worth knowing that Google core business strategy is channelled towards advertising on any of their platform. This will not be an easy hit for FB as they once again take on Google, let’s watch and see how Google will react to this development.
